Description of the works

Construction and modernization of three subsections of the Jala–Compostela section. This project was part of the construction of an A4-type highway, designed to provide modern and safe road infrastructure with the following technical characteristics:

4 lanes, each 3.5 meters wide, two in each direction.
2.5-meter shoulders.
2-meter central median barrier.
Design speed of 110 km/h

Significance

The construction of these sections, featuring advanced technical characteristics, addresses the need to improve regional connectivity in areas with complex topography, ensuring safe and efficient transportation for passengers and freight. The infrastructure was designed to accommodate high travel speeds and traffic volumes, contributing to the region’s economic and social development.
